2007 Illinois Library AssociationSpringfield, IL-October 10-October 11, 2007The last time the conference was held in Springfield, CBE witnessed heavier traffic in our multiple booth exhibit than it had over the past several years. Although the attendance numbers are down from when the conference convenes in Chicago, it seems like the librarians who go to Springfield are of high quality and give priority to visiting the exhibits. The librarians are a captive audience as there is not as much to go and see around the convention center. Public, school and academic librarians all attend. Reference materials in all subject areas, literature and children's books are just a few of their areas of interest but this is one show which the librarians show an interest in the entire collection of titles.
