2007 New England Library Association
Sturbridge, MA-October 14-October 16, 2007
Attracting librarians from all of the New England States, this show has consistently provided our participating publishers with exposure of their titles to a good representation of librarians from all seven states. CBE is frequently the most popular and heavily trafficked exhibit. The attendees immediately make it a point to go find our location and know where they have to come back and spend solid blocks of time reviewing the titles on display. Some attendees spend well over one hour at a time in our exhibit.
Public and school librarians attend this show and have an interest in a very broad selection of subject matters ranging from scholarly and reference, to history, to literature to children\'s books. Comments are given to our representatives each year that CBE is their favorite part of the exhibits and it is one of their primary reasons they attend the conference each year.
Sturbridge is a central location for all of the New England states and is easy to get to. These factors always lead to a well attended conference. As CBE is sometimes situated outside the exhibit hall enabling our exhibit to be open basically 24/7 during the conference, librarians have been found in our exhibit at midnight still perusing the books on display.
