2009 American Association of School LibrariansCharlotte, NC-November 5-November 8, 2009With ACRL as the ALA division holding it’s trade show in odd years, the American Association of School Librarians is essentially the opposite of ACRL: It covers a nation of k-12 school libraries.
The last AASL was held in Reno, NV, a location without a particularly usable convention center to fill the needs of the show. With Charlotte being an upgrade from Reno, the show should be a greater success all the way around.
