2009 New England Library AssociationHartford, CT-October 18-October 20, 2009Attracting librarians from all of the New England States, this show has consistently provided our participating publishers with exposure of their titles to a good representation of librarians from all seven states. CBE is frequently the most popular and heavily trafficked exhibit. The attendees immediately make it a point to go find our location and know where they have to come back and spend solid blocks of time reviewing the titles on display. Some attendees spend well over one hour at a time in our exhibit.
Public and school librarians attend this show and have an interest in a very broad selection of subject matters ranging from scholarly and reference, to history, to literature to children's books. Comments are given to our representatives each year that CBE is their favorite part of the exhibits and it is one of their primary reasons they attend the conference each year. Hartford is one of the larger cities in the region, and with a brand new convention center there, the show stands to have great attendance.
