What is the Combined Book Exhibit®? |

THE Combined Book Exhibit® is one of the most widely recognized and highly respected names in the publishing community. For over 75 years, CBE has been showcasing published works at national and now international book shows and expos, becoming a dependable resource for the publishers it serves, and the librarians and educators who depend on it. THE COMBINED BOOK EXHIBIT’S® reputation with publishers has helped it grow into one of the biggest—if not the biggest—exhibitor at each show it attends, while it’s reputation with educators and librarians makes it one of the busiest.

Where can a Combined Book Exhibit® be

THE Combined Book Exhibit® is showcased
at most high-volume and highly active state and regional library
conferences in the U.S. CBE also attends (as both an exhibit and
a partner) the largest English-speaking trade fair in the U.S,
BookExpo America, as well as major international venues in

What type of titles does the Combined
Book Exhibit® display? |

A Combined Book Exhibit® displays books
of almost every subject, genre, or classification. CBE will
display books from large, small, or independent publishers.

How are the exhibits organized? |
| |
Most domestic exhibits are arranged
using the Dewey Classification System. Exhibits and catalogues
at bookseller and international venues are arranged
alphabetically, first by publisher then by title.

An attendee sees my title at one of
your displays and is interested. How can they contact me? |
| |
Combined Book Exhibit® creates an
Exhibit Catalogue for each show it attends. Each catalogue
includes a Publisher Directory that lists the ordering and
contact information of every publisher on display. The COMBINED
BOOK EXHIBIT® also has a comprehensive database on its website
with publisher contact information for each book it handles for
an entire year.

Why wouldn't I just cut out the
middleman and be an exhibitor at these shows myself? |

When you allow the COMBINED BOOK
EXHIBIT® to display your book, you get the help of over 75 years of experience and reputation bringing attention to your
books. CBE also handles the cost of freight, labor, travel and
show expenses, making what could be a several thousand dollar
venture for you (per show!), into a single manageable fee.

I read you have a Membership Program.
How much does it cost and why should I subscribe? |
| |
The annual membership fee is $150 for
the calendar year. This makes you a member for the entire year
and makes you eligible for our discounted member rates.

I only have one title. How much would
it cost me to display with the Combined Book Exhibit®? |
| |
Members of the Publisher Program pay
$85 per title for state/regional shows, $105 per title for
National shows and $150 per title International shows. Show
types are clearly distinguished on reservation forms.

I publish a lot of titles? What other
options do you have? |
| |
Members of the Publisher Program can
pay the per title rate as outlined above or take advantage of
special shelf rates. A single shelf display can hold up to ten
titles. A shelf display at state/regional shows cost $595 for members. A shelf at either a national show or international show (excluding New Title Showcase displays and special exhibits) costs $750. The cost of a
shelf also includes a sign bearing your company name, giving you
extra recognition at our display.

What other services does the Combined
Book Exhibit® offer? |
| |
Aside from displaying your work at
shows, which includes inclusion in the show catalogue, your
title and company information will also be included on the CBE
online database (www.thebookcheckout.com) for a full year. This site
is fully searchable by title, author, subject, and publisher and
is utilized, free of charge, by librarians and educational
professionals.
You may also reserve a full-page ad in
one of the COMBINED BOOK EXHIBIT'S catalogues for only $150. Full Page Ad should be emailed to display@combinedbook.com in a PDF file.
