2007 Beijing Book Fair

Beginning May 7th, there will be a

$4 per book air shipping surcharge. 

 

(publishers registering and sending books prior to May 7th are included in our ocean shipment to China.  There is no charge for this service)

 

China and the Asian marketplace business is built on long standing relationships. 2007 will be the third year that CBE and its sister company, American Collective Stand, will be attending the Fair. We have established a solid and reputable relationship at the Fair.

The warm reception from the Chinese people witnessed at the fair the first year was again was overwhelming in 2006. Every catalog we sent was picked up by shows end. Our area was continually busy throughout the entire fair. Publishers who attended the Fair with us commented that they had excellent and productive business meetings.

The Chinese market is the new frontier and the next big market for years to come. With 1.2 billion people, China is poised to become the biggest market in the world, with English language materials leading the way. Books in most all subject categories are appropriate.

Our area will be increased by over 50% in 2007. The display is comprised of individual stands for companies sending their own personnel, include Panel displays, Publisher Shelves and titles from independent press for those who cannot attend.

We will take all inquiries, both for sales and rights, and send them to you after we return. Additionally, publishers can be contacted by the visitors long after the show by using the contact information in the exhibit catalog.
