Lazy TwoYesterday, my grandfather pointed out that I haven’t blogged “in a month.” Not sure if that’s true, but I know I’ve been slacking, so I’m here to pick up the pace a bit! Last week, I finished MY (not CBE’s, but MY) year of shows at New York Library Association. And let me tell you: what an awesome show. I almost couldn’t stay in the booth it was so crowded. Great feedback, great attendees, great books. In fact… People were falling over themselves to check out the books we had on Barack Obama. Or should I say President-Elect Barack Obama! I won’t get too political with you here, but whether you supported him or not, it’s always exciting to be living through history, and last week, we lived through something truly historic. I usually keep my eye on the trade-book industry, but living through something for the history books is something that can’t be ignored (so naturally, I couldn’t ignore it here). Back to the trade side of things, I recently read “The Hunger Games,” by Suzanne Collins, and I was absolutely blown away. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. I’m still trying to find my next project to tackle, so if you have any books to recommend, leave a comment. Until then, Seth out! Posted by : Seth | 11/12/2008 12:11 PM Post a Comment
