New York State is a revered destination for teachers: from fellowships that trade masters degrees for service in struggling schools to some of the country's most reputable private schools, New York runs the gamut for teaching opportunities. As such, the New York State Reading Association caters to a membership pool that varies in experience and necessity, and must provide a good show each year to be sure to reach its entire membership. Saratoga Springs is a popular destination for the conference, and regularly brings a large statewide attendance, all interested in not only new ways to teach students to read, but also new books to read, making the Combined Book Exhibit a popular spot on the show floor.
